A lot of the time we take a good idea and turn it into a stupid idea. It seems there are few limits when it comes to people stuffing things up that could otherwise be brilliant.
As a species, horses must be close to the top of the list as the biggest scaredy-cats in the animal kingdom. For goodness sake, they can leap sideways at the sight of a rock. And a Bot fly buzzing around their flanks can have horses trained to do cartwheels!
We all have the same alpha helix DNA made up of the same four base pairs. The arrangement of the base pairs may vary slightly from person to person but we are all essentially the same when broken down into our elements.
It is surprising how often a good experience at a clinic can fire the desire to ride more often. So many people come away from a clinic and feel excited to ride more often. They feel the thrill again and it is no longer a dim memory.
With a horse (and people too), the panic reaction has 3 stages. The first is a rapidly rising response to fear. The second is when the fear response is no longer increasing but is steady. The third stage is a diminishing response to fear.
